Great game, I really enjoyed that! Some of the bounces feel a bit unpredictable but I guess that’s because it’s tile and physics based? Either way nice one

Hey thanks for playing it. Yeah I never could figure out what was going on with the Godot physics on this one.

Really like this! Visual style took me back to the Lemmings era instantly. Physics seem to pretty neat here. Some tips (which are also mentioned before):

  • It's hard to find the ball sometimes, maybe a blip somewhere?
  • It takes a bit too long for the ball to come to a full stop
  • Starting at level 4 the frame rate dropped for me, all the animation became jittery, still playable, but not as smooth (Playing on a 6 year old system, Windows 10, latest Chrome)
  • And, I know it's WIP, but just some simple sounds would really add a lot really fast (e.g. only when hitting and putting the ball would already go a long way)

Thanks for the feedback, credit to https://egordorichev.itch.io/adve for the tileset I can't take credit for that. Because the Godot engine was a bit finicky I had to increase the physics frames to 120/s so in the browser it can get a little slowdown. I could definitely tweak some things for the browser version though. Sounds are coming soon, just hadn't sorted that for the first release.

Looks pretty good so for.

2 tips of advice I think would help.

1: on the beginning of each hole, have a camera start zoomed in on the ball and then zoom out to the whole level. So you know where the ball is. It took me a couple minutes to find where the ball initially was when the game started.

2: have it where you can hit the ball even if its not completely stopped. Mainly because, it takes a while for the ball to come to a complete stop.

Hi thanks for the feedback. Most commenters have said similar things so I have a clear path for the next update. Hopefully with the next course made as well.

Pretty cool, I finished with a 28 which is probably terrible haha. Although when starting the game I had no idea what to do at first. I couldn't figure out where the ball was. Maybe have it that you can click and drag from anywhere on the screen, rather than having to initiate a click on the ball. Also maybe have the controls somewhere on the screen.

Thanks for the feedback, your score seems pretty good to me. There's still plenty work to do especially with UI and player experience.
